Bruce L. is an experienced engineering leader with a specialization in motion control systems and product development. Currently serving as the Manager of Motion Control Systems Engineering at Waymo, Bruce is focused on creating advanced driving technologies. As a Consultant at Catalytic Engineering, Bruce aids companies with product development and innovative technological solutions, particularly in the energy sector. Previous roles include Team Lead at Facebook, managing power systems for the Aquila UAV program, and Director of System Engineering at EnerVault Corporation, where Bruce oversaw critical developments of flow battery systems. Bruce has also served in senior positions at 42 Technology, CMR Fuel Cells, and Ballard Power Systems, showcasing a robust track record in the clean technology and energy industries. Bruce holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
