Carson Schultz

Carson Schultz is a seasoned systems engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently at Waymo since July 2019, Carson has contributed to the development of risk-based features for motion control systems. Prior roles include systems test engineer at Waymo, where responsibilities involved automated vehicle testing and validation plans; systems engineer at Pi Innovo, focusing on project management through the V Model development cycle; and controls strategist at General Motors, where algorithms for advanced driver-assistance systems were developed. Carson's academic background includes a Master’s and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
