Christopher Olley

Christopher Olley is a Senior Data Scientist at Waymo since November 2021, with previous experience as a Senior Data Scientist at Metromile from October 2018 to November 2021. At Metromile, Christopher significantly improved a real-time credit risk model and reduced device reinstall times for fraudulent customers through innovative algorithm development. Earlier experience includes a Machine Learning Intern position, where Christopher achieved high accuracy in driver fingerprinting models and built data pipelines for feature generation. Additionally, a Summer Analyst role at Deutsche Bank involved creating a VBA tool to enhance productivity in the asset management team. Christopher holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco and a Master's degree in Physics from Imperial College London, currently pursuing non-degree graduate studies in Computer Science at Stanford University.
