Hubert Lin

Hubert Lin is a Senior Research Scientist at Waymo, focusing on multimodal foundation model research for autonomous driving and perception since June 2022, having previously served as a Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Cornell University, where research spanned computer vision, machine learning, and robotics from January 2017 to May 2022. Hubert Lin has also interned at Waymo, worked as a Research Assistant in computer vision and natural language processing at the University of Toronto, and contributed to quantum cryptography research at the Institute for Quantum Computing. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
