Jialiu Lin is an experienced technology leader and software engineer with a robust background in computer science. Currently serving as Tech Lead and Manager at Waymo since November 2018, Jialiu has progressively advanced through roles including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior experience includes co-owning Kung Fu Infinity and working as a Software Engineer and Privacy Engineer at Google, where responsibilities involved enhancing the Chrome Safe Browsing experience and developing security infrastructures for Google products. Jialiu's research contributions at Carnegie Mellon University focused on user preferences in location sharing and energy-efficient mobile sensing systems, complemented by internships at DoCoMo USA Labs and Nokia Research Center.
