Jim McFadden

Jim McFadden is a Distinguished Engineer at Waymo since December 2019, where recruitment efforts for various positions are ongoing. Prior to this role, Jim served as a Software Engineer at YouTube from April 2011 to December 2019, leading technical initiatives in recommendation systems. Jim's experience at Google began in 2005, covering both YouTube's development and research on large-scale machine learning systems until December 2019. Jim holds a BS and MS in Math and Computer Science from Stanford University and pursued a PhD in Machine Learning at Carnegie Mellon University, which remains unfinished.
