Joe Gettinger holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Beginning a career with a summer internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Joe developed expertise in induction heating systems. Subsequently, as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at QBotix, Joe conducted testing and created Python scripts for analyzing sensor data. Transitioning to an Embedded Systems Programmer role at QBotix, Joe designed autonomous behaviors for mobile robotics and managed full-stack development. Joe later contributed as a Mechatronics Design Consultant at XStream Trucking, focusing on the design of communication systems for vehicles. Currently, Joe serves as an Integrated Systems Test Engineer at Waymo, where extensive experience in robotics and embedded systems is applied.
