Jon Prall

Jon Prall is a Senior Hardware Test Development Engineer at Waymo, where responsibilities include sensor cleaning and weather performance since October 2021. Previously, Prall worked at TekPartners as a Test Engineer, focusing on verification and validation of various vehicle sensors in adverse weather, conducting fault analysis on autonomous vehicle subsystems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior experience includes a role as a Test Operator at Uber Advanced Technologies Group, contributing to self-driving technology development, and serving as a Research Team Lead at UC Santa Barbara, where a passive bleed and blow system for airfoils was modeled and tested. Jon Prall began a career in engineering as a Cannon Crewmember in the California Army National Guard, specializing in communications during live fire exercises. Prall holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
