Lu Liu is an accomplished computer scientist with extensive experience in software engineering. Currently, Lu serves as a Staff Software Engineer at Waymo since February 2021. Prior to this role, Lu worked at Google from June 2016 to 2021, holding titles of Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Lu also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Tango Me between 2014 and 2016 and completed a postdoctoral research associate position at Northwestern University from January 2013 to 2014. Lu Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Tsinghua University.
