Ludovic Legrand

Ludovic Legrand is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and product development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Waymo since July 2023, Ludovic previously held significant roles at Meta, including Head of Camera Engineering for Instagram and Head of Device Software & Platform for Portal. At HP, Ludovic led the creation of an IoT platform and ecosystem, while prior positions at Motorola and LG involved directing mobile applications and managing webOS platforms. Beginning a career at Palm, Ludovic spearheaded the development of the WebOS Application Store. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Grenoble INP - Phelma, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, and a Professional Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University.
