Matthew Walsh

Matthew Walsh serves as the State Policy Manager at Waymo, overseeing State Policy and Government Affairs for the Eastern United States since April 2023. Previously, Matthew held the role of Government Relations Manager at Accenture, focusing on the US Northeast from March 2022 to April 2023. At CMW Strategies LLC, from October 2018 to March 2022, Matthew was Vice President and Government Relations Specialist, fostering connections between clients and government officials to drive change while managing budgeting and legislation. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief of Staff in the Commissioner's Correspondence Unit at the New York City Department of Transportation and as a Student Legal Specialist at the New York City Law Department. Matthew also has a distinguished history with the New York State Assembly, serving as District Office Director and Director of Community Affairs. Academically, Matthew earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University at Albany.
