Maxim Likhachev is a Full Professor at the Robotics Institute within the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, with a research focus on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics since August 2010. In July 2021, Maxim Likhachev became a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Waymo following the acquisition of ROBOTWITS LLC, a robotics and AI company previously founded by Maxim Likhachev that specialized in autonomous driving software. Additionally, Maxim Likhachev co-founded TravelWits in 2014, an AI-powered tool designed for travel agencies.
