Mayank Singal

Mayank Singal is a skilled software engineer with expertise in machine learning and computer vision systems. Currently employed at Waymo since June 2021, Singal focuses on designing and implementing complex systems that utilize Radar, Camera, and LiDAR data, as well as integrating perception products with the planner stack. Prior experience includes a software engineering internship at Uber, where cutting-edge deep learning techniques were applied to enhance lane estimation for autonomous vehicles, and a role at Samsung R&D Institute India, specializing in real-time on-device machine learning. Singal also completed a research internship at KAIST, concentrating on deep representation learning with large-scale unlabeled video datasets.
