Michael Aguilar

Michael Aguilar is an experienced technician specializing in automotive diagnostics and hardware development. Currently serving as the Lead AV Diagnostics Technician at Waymo since July 2021, Michael previously held the position of Street View Lead Technician at Modis, where responsibilities included building custom hardware and managing field support for Google Street View platforms. Prior to that, Michael worked with Mercedes-Benz USA for four years, first as a Systems Technician, diagnosing and repairing various vehicle components, and then as a Certified Technician, with expertise in diesel, gasoline, and electric vehicles. Michael earned a Diploma of Education in Automotive from Universal Technical Institute, Inc. in 2015.
