Mika Y.

Mika Y. has a diverse background in advocacy for business and social issues, serving as the Head of Policy and Government Affairs for Japan & APAC at Waymo since 2025. Previously, they were a Senior Public Policy Manager at Airbnb from 2016 to 2022 and held various roles in public policy and consultancy, including positions at Machino Research Institute and the United Nations Population Fund. Mika is an advocate for diversity and belonging and has completed a certificate program in Diversity and Inclusion at Cornell University in 2021. They hold an MSc in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and a BA with Honors in Politics with International Studies from the University of Warwick.
