Mike Brickner

Mike Brickner is currently the Mechanical and Vehicle Integration GSM Manager at Waymo, overseeing supplier selection, cost negotiations, and contracts for mechanical components essential to the self-driving system. With a solid background in manufacturing development, Brickner has contributed to the creation of custom components such as LiDAR and RADAR, and played a key role in cross-functional collaboration with various engineering teams. Prior to Waymo, Brickner worked as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer at Nest Labs, where Mike supported the development of mechanical enclosures, and held positions at Apple Inc. focused on manufacturing processes for iPhone and accessory enclosures. Brickner began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation, specializing in satellite systems. Brickner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
