Pat Peri

Pat Peri currently serves as the Director of Hardware at Waymo, a position held since October 2017, focusing on advanced manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and weather and cleaning systems. Prior to this role, Pat was a Senior Staff Engineer for hardware and devices at Google from June 2013 to October 2017, contributing to projects such as Chromecast, Wifi, and Google Home. Experience also includes working as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at Cisco Systems from March 2008 to June 2013, with a specialization in wireless networking and data center hardware, and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Schaeffler from September 2004 to March 2008, focusing on automatic torque converters. Pat holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Systems from Clemson University and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
