Ruoshu Chen, FCAS, has extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently serving as Lead Actuary at Waymo since July 2020, with prior roles as Senior Actuary and Actuary at the same company. Previously, Ruoshu worked at Uber from June 2016 to June 2020 in various actuarial positions focused on Safety & Insurance Data Science and Product Analytics, as well as reserving actuarial responsibilities. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Manager for CCAR Development at AIG from April 2015 to June 2016, and as an Actuarial Analyst at Willis Towers Watson from July 2012 to April 2015. Ruoshu began the actuarial career as an intern in different capacities at Towers Watson, the Texas Department of Insurance, and PICC. Ruoshu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Actuarial Science from Texas McCombs School of Business.
