Stark Ryan

Stark Ryan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in software engineering, quantitative research, and education. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Waymo since June 2024, Stark previously held the position of Model Engineer at Ghost Autonomy, where significant advancements in planner development were made, earning recognition from senior leadership. Stark's experience as a Quantitative Researcher at IMC Trading included enhancing hedging algorithms and machine learning strategies, while a Data Scientist Intern role at the USDA involved developing improved modeling techniques for agricultural growth. Additionally, Stark has a strong foundation in education, having taught mathematics at Bellevue High School and served as a vocal coach and pianist at Carnegie Hall.
