Xunyu Lin is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Waymo, focusing on building video-language models for the company’s semantics foundation. Previously, Xunyu worked as an Applied Scientist at AWS AI Rekognition, where their projects included long-form video analysis and event detection in streaming home security cameras. Xunyu has also held positions as a research assistant at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the University of Michigan, contributing to self-supervised learning and long-term video prediction. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beihang University and a Master's in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University.
