Yiren Lu is a Senior Research Scientist and Tech Lead at Waymo since July 2020, specializing in reinforcement learning, imitation learning, foundation models post-training, motion planning, and multi-agent simulation. Previously, Yiren served as a Software Engineer at Google from July 2017 to June 2020, working on Google Assistant and Search, as well as a 20% project with Brain-Robotics focused on deep reinforcement learning and imitation learning.
