Brooke Bendix

Brooke Bendix, AM, LMSW, serves as the Founder of Therapyology, PLLC, since January 2015, leading a team dedicated to a preventative approach to mental health focused on self-actualization and community connection. In addition to this role, Brooke has been an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University since January 2016. Prior experience includes serving as the Psychotherapist and Owner of Michigan Family Therapy, PLLC, where individual psychotherapy for children, teens, and parents was specialized. Brooke's earlier roles include Integrated Healthcare Therapist at Starfish Family Services, Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Step By Step Care Group, Inc., and Child/Adolescent Social Worker at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital, where extensive work with children and families dealing with various mental health challenges was conducted. Education includes an MA in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a BS in Family Community Services from Michigan State University.
