Alexander Plähn is a sales, trading, and supply chain expert with extensive knowledge and a broad network in the international fertilizer sector, focusing on specialty fertilizers in South Africa and neighboring countries. They have served as the Head of Africa for Agrifert Liven International and co-founded CloverGreen GmbH, facilitating connections between producers and markets. As a business owner at Plähn Consulting, they provided procurement services and business development support in the fertilizer sector across EMEA, Southeast Asia, and India. Currently, Alexander is the Global Sales Director at Waypoint Commodities, continuing to empower businesses in commodity trade through innovative solutions. Alexander holds a Bachelor’s degree in foreign trade from the School of Economics and Foreign Trade.
