Robert Kress

Rob Kress is an experienced leader in supply chain management and business development, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Waypost Advisors LLC since March 2020, focusing on addressing manufacturing supply chain challenges. Previous roles include Product Director at Cargill, managing a $600 million business in food and industrial starches, and serving as Global Director for Starches Sweeteners & Texturizers with a $450 million P&L responsibility. Kress also held significant positions at The Dow Chemical Company, leading global business development and managing a $500 million P&L in specialty plastics. Additional experience includes corporate development management at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, and prior roles in private equity and financial analysis. Kress holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a BS in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Catalyst Innovation Leadership Certificate from INSEAD.
