Bruno Moraes

Bruno Moraes is the Managing Director of Wayra Capital, part of Telefónica's corporate venture capital, where they invest in and manage a portfolio of 125 start-ups to enhance growth and generate revenue. With 16 years of experience as a founder and investor, Bruno co-founded Beegol and Stogas, the latter securing significant funding and permitting for gas storage in Brazil. Bruno's prior role as Associate Principal at McKinsey saw them leading strategies for major corporations in Latin America. They hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, alongside further education in energy project development from Harvard Business School.
