Jay Ketner

Jay Ketner PhD is an accomplished leader in the educational field, currently serving as the Founder and Director of Expand Professional Learning since July 2024 and as the Senior Manager of Professional Learning at Wayside Publishing since 2018. At Wayside Publishing, Jay Ketner spearheads product vision and innovation while guiding the editorial team and fostering partnerships. Previous experience includes serving as an Implementation Advisor for the U.S. Department of State on the Clinton's 1 Million Strong Initiative, where responsibilities involved leading teams in teacher training and curriculum development. As Vice President of the National Council of State Supervisors of Foreign Languages, Jay Ketner achieved significant fundraising milestones. Additional roles include World Languages Specialist at the Maine Department of Education and Visiting Assistant Professor at Bowdoin College. Jay Ketner earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Minnesota.
