Rachael May

Rachael May, FSA, MAAA, currently serves as Vice President and Chief Actuary at Wayspring since January 2022, having previously held roles such as Vice President of Actuarial Services and Director of Actuarial Services within the same organization. Prior to Wayspring, Rachael accumulated extensive experience at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York from March 2013 to January 2022, where positions included Manager of Risk Adjusted Revenue Analytics and Actuarial Analyst for Medicare Pricing. Rachael's career commenced at the University at Buffalo, where a role as a Teaching Assistant was held from August 2010 to May 2013. Rachael holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University at Buffalo, obtained between 2010 and 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Le Moyne College, which was completed from 2006 to 2010.
