Daryl Dohner is an Advanced Application Engineer at Waystar, starting in January 2024, with a strong background in software engineering and project management. Previously involved with the Georgia Tech VIP Program from January 2022 to December 2023, Daryl contributed to the Lightning from the Edge of Space Research Group by designing embedded flight computer software and leading team operations for high-altitude balloon launches. A Software Engineer Co-op at Patientco, now part of Waystar, from May 2020 to August 2023, allowed for extensive experience in SaaS cloud software engineering and data pipeline development. Daryl’s early career includes roles such as a summer staff member at Germantown Academy and an intern at IT Solutions Consulting, where skills in carpentry, electrics, sound engineering, and programming were developed. Daryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completed in December 2023.
