Greg Packer

Greg Packer is a seasoned legal executive with extensive experience in leading legal functions across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Waystar since March 2025, Packer previously held the same position at Ancestry from April 2020 to March 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of over 30 legal professionals and engaging with senior leadership and private-equity sponsors on complex legal matters. Prior roles also include General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Lonestar Resources, Inc., Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Howard Energy Partners, and a Corporate Attorney at Latham & Watkins. Packer holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and both an MS and a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
