Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is an experienced Systems Engineer with expertise in Hybrid Cloud and Data Center Solutions. They began their career in the U.S. Navy, where they served as Radioman 2nd Class, and later honed their technical skills at various companies including Digital Equipment Corporation and Dell EMC, where they held roles ranging from Field Service Engineer to Sr. Systems Engineer. Matthew has also worked as a Senior Storage Consultant and a Technical Account Manager, specializing in storage and disaster recovery solutions. Currently, they are an Advanced Systems Engineer at Waystar, focusing on maintenance and compliance in cloud environments. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from McKendree University and an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Kentucky College of Technology.
