Kai Volkmann

Kai Volkmann, CAIA, serves as the Country Head for Germany and Austria at Waystone since May 2019 and has held a similar position at Fulcrum Asset Management since September 2015, focusing on strengthening the company's presence in the region. Previously, Kai Volkmann was the Managing Director and Country Head for Carmignac Deutschland GmbH from January 2012 to September 2014, overseeing the German and Austrian businesses. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Managing Director at BlackRock following the acquisition of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and as a Senior Relationship Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management after the merger of Fleming Asset Management. Kai Volkmann started their career at KPMG as an Associate in the Asset Management sector. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, a CAIA in Alternative Investments, an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Institute, and an Executive Course in Investment Management from The Wharton School.
