Chris Burbridge is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in autonomous driving technology and research. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Wayve since June 2025, Chris previously held a similar role at Five AI from March 2018 to June 2025. Prior to that, Chris worked as an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Tata Motors European Technical Centre between February 2016 and March 2018. Chris's academic experience includes a position as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham from July 2011 to February 2016 and as a Research Associate at the University of Ulster (UK) from December 2009 to July 2011.
