Daniel Quirke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical policy and project management within the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Technical Policy Manager at Wayve, Daniel focuses on aligning emerging technical policy frameworks for the commercial deployment of self-driving vehicles. In parallel, Daniel holds the position of Head of Telecoms Standards and Patents at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), where leadership is provided to enhance the UK's capabilities in telecoms network infrastructure. Previous roles include Head of AI Adoption at the UK Government Office for AI, where innovative AI adoption programs were designed, and Senior Bid Manager at Future Cities Catapult, focused on mobilizing urban innovation projects. Daniel's academic background includes a Master’s Degree from King's College London and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of York.
