Haibo E.

Haibo E. is the Director of Product at Wayve. Prior to this, they were a Research Fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge from January 2017 to October 2021. During their time at Cambridge, they were awarded an academic research fellowship that was elected by a board of Royal Society Fellows and Nobel Laureates. From July 2016 to March 2017, Haibo worked as a Research Engineer at Skydio Inc, where they designed the deep learning algorithm that progressed the drone from being able to track only people wearing a specific coloured t-shirt, to being able to track humans in general. Prior to that, Haibo worked as a Software Engineer at Beca from February 2014 to August 2014.

Haibo E. completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Robotics at the University of Cambridge. Prior to that, they completed a BE(Hons.) in Mechatronics Engineering at The University of Auckland.
