Jon Sowman

Jon Sowman is a seasoned professional in engineering and consultancy with extensive experience in robotics and control systems. Currently serving as Robotics Lead and Control Team Lead at Wayve since April 2022, Jon previously worked at Frazer-Nash Consultancy from October 2017 to April 2022 as a Senior Consultant, focusing on renewable energy, space, and medical technology. Jon's earlier career includes positions at Ricardo from September 2013 to July 2017, where responsibilities included roles as Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Consultant while also completing doctoral research in engine control. Jon holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Research Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Southampton.
