Ervin Purvis has a diverse work experience in both the military and civilian sectors. Ervin began their career as a student in the US Government in 2009 and continued until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Commander in the 902d Engineer Company in the US Army. Following this, they worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor of Military Science and Operations Officer from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Ervin served as a Foreign Military Advisor to the Afghanistan National Army's Chief of Engineers and the National Engineer Brigade. Ervin then joined the U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command as an Exercise Planner, a role they held from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Ervin holds the position of Project Manager at Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB), starting in August 2019.
