Matt Phillips, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt began their career as a Detailer at NPC PERS 412 in 1998 and later served as a Executive Officer on USS SAN JACINTO from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined the Office of National Drug Control Policy as a Mexico/Cent Am Policy Analyst where they represented the organization and the White House in various meetings. Matt then served as the Executive Officer and later the Commanding Officer on USS BULKELEY from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they worked at OPNAV N3/N5, where they held multiple roles including National Security and Defense Strategy SME, Strategy and Policy Lead, and N513 Action Officer. Currently, Matt is a Program Manager at Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) since 2020.

Matt Phillips, PMP pursued their education in a methodical manner, prioritizing their career goals and interests. In 1990, they enrolled at Norwich University and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communications in 1994. Building upon their undergraduate education, they attended the U.S. Naval War College from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategy. This educational background equipped Matt with a diverse skill set and knowledge base, which has likely provided a solid foundation for their professional endeavors.
