Stephen S. has extensive work experience in the field of technology systems engineering and consulting. Stephen began their career in 1984 as a USAF Officer in the United States Air Force, where they served for 20 years until 2004. During their time in the Air Force, Stephen held various roles and responsibilities.

In 2004, Stephen joined the Northrop Grumman Corporation and served as the B-2 Capabilities & Modernization IPT Lead until 2007. In this role, they led and coordinated the Integrated Product Team (IPT) responsible for the capabilities and modernization of the B-2 aircraft.

After their time at Northrop Grumman, Stephen moved on to work at Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) in 2007, where they served as a Serco-WBB Consultant - Senior Technology Systems Engineer. Stephen S. pursued their education in a chronological order, starting from 1979 to 1983, where they attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. There, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. After a gap in their education, Stephen attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1990 to 1994. Stephen obtained their Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Science during this time.

In addition to their formal education, Stephen also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received the certification for Certified Enterprise Architect - DODAF Black Belt from The FEAC Institute. Stephen also holds certifications from the FAA, including CFI (Certified Flight Instructor), CFII (Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument), MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor), and ATP (Airline Transport Pilot).
