Alison Stowell has extensive experience in academia and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Engagement at Lancaster University Management School and as a Senior Lecturer. Stowell is also active as a faculty member and academic advisor for the WBCSD Leadership Program. Previous roles include leadership positions at the Future Cities Research Institute and the Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business at Lancaster University. Stowell's academic career began as an Associate Tutor, following a Doctoral Researcher role at Lancaster University, where research focused on e-waste legislation. Additionally, Stowell has experience as a Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and worked as an IT Specialist at IBM. Stowell holds a Ph.D. in Organisation, Work and Technology, an MSc in Information Technology, Management and Organisational Change, and a BSc in Business and Information Technology, all from Lancaster University and the University of Portsmouth.
