Philippe Joubert is the Founder and CEO of Earth on Board, established in June 2016, focusing on enhancing board engagement with sustainability. Joubert also serves as the Executive Chairman of the Global Electricity Initiative at the World Energy Council since December 2012, and holds faculty and board member positions at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. As a Senior Advisor and Special Envoy for Energy and Climate at WBCSD since June 2012, Joubert contributes to various energy initiatives. Additional roles include Board Member and Audit Committee Member at Voltalia, Chairman of HRH The Prince of Wales's Corporate Leaders Group until November 2019, and previous positions at Nexans and Actis Electricity of Cameroun. Notable past experience includes serving as Deputy CEO and Senior Advisor at Alstom, where Philippe also held executive leadership roles in Alstom Power. Philippe Joubert earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from ESSEC Business School between 1973 and 1976.
