Em Lozen

As the Events Manager, Em is responsible for the planning, design, and coordination of WBENC events. They work alongside the Senior Director of Events and fellow staff members to ensure seamless execution and outstanding deliverables.

Em joined the WBENC team in October 2022 as an experienced fundraising events manager in the non-profit sector. They graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Communication and spent five very fulfilling years, working with the Museum of Life and Science as a member of the development and events team.

Em was a Diversity & Leadership Fellow with the Association of Science and Technology Centers in 2018 and 2019, joining a diverse group of emerging leaders from the Museum field. Here, they developed a great appreciation for peer learning, leadership training, and networking opportunities that National Conferences provide.
