Benny Higgins is currently the Group Chairman of Markerstudy and has had a distinguished career in the financial services sector. They began at Standard Life, qualifying as an actuary, and later held prominent roles as CEO of Retail Banking at RBS and HBOS, and CEO of Tesco Bank. In 2017, Benny was appointed as Strategic Adviser by the Scottish Government to help establish the Scottish National Investment Bank. They hold a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow and remain actively involved in various leadership roles, including Chairmanships with National Galleries of Scotland and Sistema Scotland.
