Sarah Oppmann

Sarah Oppmann is a Multi Skilled Journalist and Visual Storyteller currently employed at WBIR-TV since August 2023. Previously, Sarah served as a News Anchor and Sports Analyst at Middle Tennessee News, co-anchoring a student-run newscast and providing sports analysis for live tennis matches. Additional experience includes working as a Student Reporter for MTSU True Blue TV, hosting the live Red Carpet Show for a major concert event, and completing internships at WKRN News 2 and WMOT Roots Radio 89.5, where responsibilities included research and news story production. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University, complemented by an Education Abroad Semester in Communication and Media Studies at The University of Salford.
