Miriam Colón has a diverse work experience in the field of kitchen and cabinet design. Miriam started their career as a Showroom Manager/Designer at Kitchens Beyond, Inc. in 1996 and worked there until 2009. Miriam then joined United Kitchen Cabinets Inc. as a Kitchen Designer from December 2009 to February 2013. After that, they worked as a Design Specialist at Home Owners Bargain Outlet from 2013 until August 2013. Miriam then moved on to The Home Depot, where they served as a Kitchen & Bath Designer from November 2013 to March 2015. Following their time at The Home Depot, they worked independently as a Kitchen Designer, managing projects from start to finish, for various clients such as Contractors, Builders, Real Estate Agents, Investors, and Homeowners. Miriam is currently working as a Senior Cabinet Designer at Wisenbaker Builder Services.
Miriam Colón started their education in 2006 at Passaic County Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services in 2009. Afterward, in 2009, they transferred to Kean University, where they focused on Industrial and Product Design until 2012. Finally, from 2011 to 2014, they attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree with a specialization in Architecture.
