Risa McCann

Risa McCann has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Risa began their career in 1997 as a high school teacher at Humble ISD. In 2013, they joined the Hospitality Educators Association of Texas and Marriott International as a member and Hospitality Services - Practicum Instructor, respectively. In 2016, they became a Practicum Instructor at Wisenbaker Builder Services. In recent years, Risa has taken on leadership roles, including TSO Membership Chair at The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International in 2017 and National Technical Honor Society Advisor at National Technical Honor Society, also in 2017. Overall, Risa's work experience showcases their commitment to the field of education and their ability to adapt to different industries.

Risa McCann completed their Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1982 to 1984. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Home Economics Education from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 1978 to 1982.
