Barbara Moran is an accomplished environmental reporter and documentary producer with extensive experience in media and science communication. Currently serving as the head of the environmental reporting team at WBUR, Boston's NPR news station since September 2018, Barbara has also freelanced as a documentary producer and science writer since 1995, contributing to major networks such as the Discovery Channel, PBS, and the History Channel. Previously, Barbara held positions as Senior Researcher for PBS's NOVA, Editor and Senior Science Writer at Boston University, and Content Producer at WGBH. Barbara Moran holds a Master of Science in Science Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
