Jörg Schönenborn

Jörg Schönenborn is the Program Director for Information, Fiction, and Entertainment at WDR, a role that highlights their extensive experience in the broadcasting field. They serve as a Wahlmoderator and have previously held various positions, including Koordinator Fiktion and Moderator des Presseclubs, at ARD from 1999 to 2024. Prior to this, Jörg was an editor and reporter at WDR from 1987 to 1997, where they also contributed as a moderator for ARD-Brennpunkte and led the Zeitgeschehen aktuell segment. Jörg holds a Diplom in Journalism and Political Science from Technische Universität Dortmund, completed in 1988.
