Darryl Forges

Darryl Forges is an experienced news professional with a career spanning over a decade in various roles within the media industry. Currently serving as a News Anchor at WDSU TV since August 2022, Forges previously held the position of National Correspondent at CNN NEWSOURCE from October 2019 to April 2022. Additional experience includes reporting for NBC 6 Miami from October 2016 to October 2019 and working as a Multimedia Journalist at WAKA Alabama News Network between August 2014 and September 2016. Early career highlights feature producing and hosting a political radio show at The Wolf Internet Radio, along with roles as Anchor and Assistant Director, where Forges focused on news production quality. Forges was also the News Director and Senior Adviser at UTV13 and gained early experience as an intern with Cox Communications. Darryl Forges earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of West Georgia between 2009 and 2014.
