Simone Melis

Simone Melis is currently the adjunct-director at MIND, where they manage policy and advocacy within a leading organization for mental health clients and their relatives. They previously served as a strategic advisor and deputy head of administrative support at the Ministry of Finance, and worked as a senior advisor for public affairs at the Autoriteit Financiële Markten. With a rich background in European affairs, finance, and policy, Simone has held various positions including project manager at Thomson Reuters and coördinerend adviseur EU legislation for the Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal. They hold a Master's degree in Political Science from Maastricht University and have completed additional studies in economics and health management.
