Chye is a qualified Aikido instructor who has taught at Aikido Kaashikoi Dojo since 2006 and travels internationally for teaching opportunities. With a Master of Arts in Martial Arts from Horizons University, they also provide one-on-one self-defense classes. Prior to their current role, Chye has held positions in the culinary field and within various security roles, including Security Officer at Dyson and Police Community Support Officer at Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
